PREVIEW: The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive at Delaware Speedway

LONDON, Ontario --- After an exciting night of racing at the beach, it is time for some of the fastest speeds that The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive will see all season long as they will head to Delaware Speedway on Saturday, June 27.
There are several drivers to watch in the field this weekend that will be contending for the win once the The Car Guy green flag waves.
Trevor Thompson is one of those, as he has run strong at Delaware previously with recent finishes including an eighth last season. The driver of the No. 00 Camaro has been consistent, scoring six top-10's in his last seven series appearances, with 25 top-10's in 30 career starts.
Tyler Hawn enters the weekend looking to turn things around after not having the opening night go as well as he wanted at Sauble with a seventh-place finish. He has found victory lane at Delaware Speedway previously, with finishes of fourth and sixth last season.
Drew Richardson has been consistent throughout his OSCAAR career, scoring six top-10's in his last nine series appearances. This included picking up a ninth at Delaware last season.
Ryan Cowan showed speed at Sauble Speedway, but mechanical gremlins resulted in the Pontiac failing to cross the finish line. He has shown speed in the past, with 20 top-10 finishes in 53 career starts.
Steve Book has shown speed at Delaware in the past, as evident by placing fifth and seventh in the pair of events last season. He also started off this year on a good note, picking up a fourth-place finish at the beach.
Thomas Wunsch kept his consistency going at the beach with a third-place finish. He showed speed at Delaware last year, leading the majority of the fall event before losing the lead in the late stages for a runner-up finish.
Brian Wilson Jr. overcame some pre-season gremlins to run all the laps at Sauble, picking up an 11th-place finish.
John Gaunt has only been with the tour on three previous occasions, but do not let that fool you. Both of those saw him place in the top-five including a win at Sunset Speedway, and a fifth a couple weeks ago at Sauble Speedway.
Jay Doerr may not have had the day he wanted at Sauble, as evident by heading pit side on Lap 2, but should be able to turn it around at Delaware. He has a lot of experience at the half-mile, and finished sixth last fall.
The 2025 rookie class of drivers will certainly be catching the attention of several fans in attendance, as these competitors come with a variety of past experience in racing.
Both Jacob Booth and Daniel Hawn proved the battle for Rookie of the Year honors will be on-going all season, as evident by both run strong with finishes of sixth and ninth respectively at the beach.
Ayden McNicol made the jump into the Hot Rods following a successful season of Bone Stock competition at Full Throttle Motor Speedway, and showed promise at Sauble in putting together a solid day to place 12th.
Don't miss the action at Delaware Speedway this weekend as it will include the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifieds.
