PREVIEW: The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods at Brighton Speedway

BRIGHTON, Ontario ----Â It is time to get dirty as The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive will make their lone dirt track appearance of 2026 at Brighton Speedway.
There are several drivers to watch in the field that will be contending for the win once the The Car Guy green flag waves.
Thomas Wunsch has been the driver to watch to start off 2026, as evident by a third at Sauble Speedway before picking up his first career series victory at Delaware Speedway. He has placed seventh and eighth at his two appearances at Brighton.
Tyler Hawn enters the weekend looking for his second win in a row after picking up his first checkered flag of 2026 at Peterborough Speedway. He leads all competitors with four trips to victory lane at Brighton Speedway, including the last three in a row.
Steve Book knows what it takes to get the job done at Brighton Speedway, as he has picked up a couple checkered flags on the dirt track. He has also started off this year on a good note with a trio of top-seven finishes.
Jacob Booth showed a lot of speed at Peterborough Speedway as he challenged for the win en route to a runner-up finish. It marks his third straight top-10 to currently lead the Rookie of the Year standings.
Daniel Hawn is keeping Booth honest in the ROTY battle as evident by a trio of top-10's of his own including a fifth-place finish at Peterborough Speedway.
Ryan Cowan has shown speed in the past with the tour, as evident by posting 20 top-10 finishes in 54 career starts. He has placed fifth and sixth in his last two appearances at Brighton Speedway.
Ayden McNicol made the jump into the Hot Rods following a successful season of Bone Stock competition at Full Throttle Motor Speedway, and has showed promise this season with solid runs in each of his outings.
Rob Poole made the most of his OSCAAR Hot Rod Series debut, scoring a heat victory and a solid 10th-place finish at Peterborough Speedway.
Rob Bromley has scored a top-10 in each of his last three appearances at Brighton Speedway, highlighted by a sixth in 2023. He began the season with a runner-up finish at Sauble Speedway and eighth at Peterborough Speedway.
