PREVIEW: Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modifieds at Delaware Speedway presented by Lloyd's Paving (Wyoming) Limited

LONDON, Ontario --- Whether it be late-race battles for positions, or a championship coming down to the final laps of the event, Delaware Speedway has always put on a good show each time OSCAAR has been there.

That's why it is no surprise the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifieds are excited for their event this coming weekend on Saturday, June 27, presented by Lloyd's Paving (Wyoming) Limited.

Here are some of the drivers to watch this weekend.

Rick Burbridge may be a modified rookie, but you cannot count him out as he showed speed at Sauble Speedway's season opener with a third-place finish. He comes into the event with experience at Delaware Speedway on his side, previously with the APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series.

Matt Haufe found success at Sunset Speedway last year in his rookie campaign with the open-wheel cars. The very successful Legend racer has also started off this year solidly with a sixth-place finish at Sauble Speedway.

Third generation racer Eric McLean made his modified debut at Sauble, rebounding from a mid-race spin on the frontstretch for an eighth-place finish.

Daryl Henwood will also be joining the field, running a second entry for Trendell Racing. He comes in with open-wheel experience, having been a long-time racer with the Canadian Vintage Modifieds, and was solid at Sauble with a ninth.

Jason Keen did not start off his season as planned with mechanical issues in practice taking him out of contention early at Sauble Speedway. He should not be overlooked, though, as the driver of the No. 18 scored six top-five finishes in seven races with the tour in 2025, including a pair of fifths at Delaware Speedway.

Bryan Batty returns back full-time with the OSCAAR tour in 2026, as he hopes to find the same success which led him to 19 top-10 finishes in 31 previous appearances. He ran well at Sauble with a runner-up finish, and placed third last fall at Delaware.

2025 series champion Steve Trendell was fast last year at Delaware, as evident with a second and a third. He will hope to find his way to Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales victory lane for the second time in his first career, after having scored no finishes outside the top-five in his last nine series appearances.

Brent McLean is no stranger to OSCAAR victory lane, as evident by having won five times throughout his career. In total, he has scored 44 top-10's in 57 series appearances, including a 10th-place finish at Sauble.

Dale Reinhart comes into the driver as the one to beat, based on his recent trips to victory lane. He won the points season finale at Delaware last season, and kicked off 2026 by picking up the checkered flag at Sauble Speedway. Notably, he has not finished outside the top-five in his last nine series appearances.

Wally Wilson rebounded at Sauble to find his way to a fifth-place finish in the feature despite sustaining damage during the heat races. He placed fourth and seventh in the pair of events at Delaware in 2025.

Tyler Liscum's return behind the wheel of a modified may have began a little rough with a spin in qualifying, but he was able to rebound for a seventh-place finish in the feature.
