OSCAAR To Take Part in Short Track Night of Champions

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario --- To win a championship no matter the division you are taking part in, it takes a lot of work. So when the goal is accomplished, it is important that you are recognised for your achievements.


That's why everyone at OSCAAR is proud to know each of our 2025 series champions will be on-stage as part of the Fast Eddie Short Track Night of Champions.


The ceremony takes part on the Saturday, March 14, 2026, as part of the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The event hosts welcome each driver that scored a championship across the province of Ontario, whether track or series. Each of the drivers will be brought up on stage, before being interviewed about their accomplishments with the host and receiving a plaque.


J.R. Fitzpatrick was crowned the 2025 JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Model Championship after capping the year off in victory lane in the season finale Frostoberfest event at Flamboro Speedway. It marked his third career championship following titles to his name in 2016 and 2024.


Steve Trendell was crowned the 2025 Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified Champion after putting together a very consistent season with no finishes off of the podium all year. His first career series title was highlighted by getting his first career feature victory at Peterborough Speedway.


Tyler Hawn was crowned the 2025 The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rod Champion, marking his fifth career series championship. He had a great season highlighted by four wins and 10 top-five finishes, capped off by winning the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway.


Outside of our series champions, there will be other OSCAAR competitors on the stage throughout the night as a result of their accomplishments outside of the series.


Hawn will be on the stage twice as he also was crowned the 2025 Sunset Speedway Hot Rod Champion after a couple dominating wins along the way.


Wally Wilson found his way to victory lane at Sunset Speedway multiple times to be crowned the 2025 Sunset Speedway Modified Champion.


Lane Zardo will be recognized for his Dayco Super Stocks Championship after clinching it in a nail-biter to end off the season at Delaware Speedway.


OSCAAR Hot Rod rookie Lucas Chapman will be on-stage after co-winning the 2025 Grand Bend Speedway and Go Kart Centre Bone Stock Championship.


OSCAAR will have a major presence at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo all weekend long from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15. Fans will have the chance to pick up a copy of the 2026 season schedule, while checking out some of the cars up-close and meeting some drivers. More details about the show will be announced closer to show time.
