About the Race
Traditionally, OSCAAR teams prepare for the season through multiple open practice sessions at various tracks. In 2026, the Beat the Clock Challenge gives teams the opportunity to focus their testing efforts at a single venue—while also competing for prize money and early-season bragging rights.
The Fyre Place & Patio Shop Hot Rods will compete in time trials, with the top three drivers sharing a $500 purse. Following time trials, the field will be lined up for a 25-lap feature event for their normal payout. As a non-points race, the emphasis will be purely on speed, performance, and the honour of capturing the first trophy of the 2026 season.
Both the Overkill Enterprises Modifieds and the JRS Auctions Super Late Models will participate in two rounds of practice and time trials, each division battling for the fastest lap of the night. A $1,000 purse will be split among the top three…
